Public transit system in Zagreb is run by buses and tramways. Tramways are powered by electricity. The network is city-wide. Currently there are more than 280 vehicles operating on more than 130 city lines (130 day lines and 4 night lines). There are 1614 bus stations in total. Yearly passenger count is about 94 million passengers (info from 2008). Bus manufacturers: MAN, Mercedes Benz and Iveco. New vehicles are low-floor type, which enables more comfortable entrance for all types of users (even for the disabled people.

Tickets are transferable. If you buy transferable ticket, the price is 150% of a regular ticket (daily, monthly…).
